"I don't know," he admitted. "I feel nervous around you."
"Hm," he murmured, his eyes flicking up and down. "He always did have good taste."
"I won't actually cry, probably," she said. "I promise."
He hesitated. "I didn't know what to do."
He chuckled lowly. "He's a strange one, that's for sure," she said slowly, before pausing. "You're quite pretty, you know."
She grinned wider. "I must."
He grinned, putting his arms around her. "Awesome."
"Ah." He grinned, watching her thoughtfully. "The salamanders. They're quite interesting. I'm surprised they come out of the cave."

She squinted at him. "If I cry when you clean it, will you feel bad?"
"Leaving earlier," he answered. "Not telling you."
"That's probably a better idea," he said. "I'm going to inform them real quick, okay?"
She smiled against his lips, then pulled away. "I love you."
He pulled away, looking at the ground. "Hm.. I'm sorry."
"I try," he said, smiling at her. "Do you want to leave tonight or tomorrow? Either works for me."
"Right," she said with a grin. "I'm tough."
He seemed nervous, tilting his head anxiously before looking at her. After a moment he leaned and kissed her softly, his actions seeming unsure.
"No," he said. "I already did all the work I needed, so I'm good."
