Her brows furrowed, and she brushed loose strands of hair from her face. " Will it hurt?"
A bit later, his car pulled into her driveway, and he stepped out hesitantly.
He opened the front door. "We can if you'd like. I could probably drive a ways."
She nodded, reaching her hand and rubbing his back. "I'm good," she said. "I accidentally brushed it."
There was no response after that, and it would take him awhile to get there.
"Tomorrow," he said. "Or tonight. Whichever you prefer."
She quickly changed her shirt, inhaling sharply as her hand brushed over the wound. "Ah.." She winced slightly, but continued, only speaking...
"Of course," the message read. "I still care."
He nodded, opening his door. "Yep."
She nodded, picking up the clothes. "I'll be quick."
There was a pause before he responded. "Can I hang out with you?"
He leaned over to kiss her. "Of course," he said. "It was fun."
"I think I'll be able to do it on my own, " she said thoughtfully. "Maybe."
After a moment, she would receive a notification. "Hey."
He kissed her cheek before turning back to face the trail.
She smiled. " Good. Thank you."

"Trust me," he said. "It is."
She sat up with a bit of difficulty, murmuring a song to herself as she waited patiently.
He turned the corner, blushing slightly as he glanced back. Did he really just leave her back there? He groaned in frustration.
