"That sounds good," he said. "I haven't seen one in awhile."
She smiled at him, her eyes bright. "I think it's nice when you kiss me."
He laughed. "I agree," he said. "I'm sure we'll do good."
"Thanks," he said, sitting down on a large rock. "I wonder if there are any newts, too."
"I love to tease," she repeated, nodding slowly. "And I love you."
"It will," he agreed, grinning slightly.
He tilted his head down. "If you would?"
"I'm doing it because I love you,' she answered smoothly.
"Let's do that," he said in agreement.
"C'mon, I think you should take it back."
She grinned. "Yes you are," she said, her voice lilting.
"That can be our hypothesis."
"I still have some," he told her with a grin. "You can have it back."
"Babe," she began, "you're so cute."
"Yeah," he agreed. "Better for the experiment."
He seemed confused, then noticed the salamander was no long in her hair. "Oh.. I think I used some of the salamander oil you had."
She grinned. "You're so cute."
"You can if you want," he said. "I don't mind the work."
