"Oh," she murmured. "Then I'll have to make sure you don't lose me."
He rolled his eyes. "I can do that while you do research at home."
"Oh jeez," he mumbled thoughtfully. "That does seem pretty rare."

"It's honestly probably better if you don't. I can conduct experiments while your gone."
"Oh really?" he asked. "Where can you find it?"
She frowned. "Yes."
"I was bored," he replied. "Decided it would be best to discuss the project."
"It looks good," he said. "You should really use it more often."
"They thought I was stealing," she answered, "but I wasn't."
"You don't have to apologize," he told her. "It's okay. Really."
He grinned. "You look lovely. Did you do something different with your hair today?"
She frowned, feeling as if there was no convincing him. "Okay. Fine."
"Alright," he said, "I'm glad we've come to an agreement."
"That's a good name," he agreed. "I like it."
"Sometimes," she began, "you must make sacrifices."
"What would you name him?" he asked curiously.
"The weird time happened because of our friendship, then," he said, smiling slightly.
"Jack," she mumbled, almost sternly. "You gotta sleep in a bed."
"Oh." He grinned. "You found one."
