"I might just be thinking your dad is like mine," he said. "Guess not."

"There were more," he said. "Not a lot, but more."
"You're dad wouldn't like that."
She returned his gaze, then nodded. "Yeah."
He shrugged. "Not a lot of people come here anymore."
"Not that I can think of. You?"
"Okay," she said. "Good."
"It's a good place," he said, nodding slightly.
He chuckled slightly. "I know. I'm just teasing."
"I will," she said. "You too?"
"That to," he said. "Let's just stay where we are."
"Fine. Be that way."
"Good," she said. "Do you want to meet back at the docks after?'
"You're a good scientist, though."
He squinted at her. "Fine."
"So you have to do some trading and then we can hang out, right?"
