Separate names with a comma.
"Yep," she said with a nod. "I won't let you."
He laughed, squeezing her hand. "That may be one of the weirdest things I've ever heard you say."
He sighed heavily. "Fine."
She shook her head. "You're not allowed to die."
"You don't look like a salamander," he said. "I think I'd be able to look past it."
He was silent, only frowning slightly. "I disagree."
She kissed him softly, her hand brushing his neck. "Good."
He kissed her cheek. "I suppose I will forgive you. We've gone this far, anyways."
"That's a big accusation," he said. "I don't think it's possible."
"Because, Curnow, I'll make sure of it."
"So what you wanted was a chance with me?" he asked. "Knowing I couldn't fall in love with a salamander?"
He frowned. "I'm not."
She kissed his cheek. "You'll live. I'm sure of it."
"Why would you lie to me all this time?"
"I'm supposed to collect the seashells?" he asked. "Haven't you heard of 'look not touch'?"
"Maybe next time," she said. "An offence as minor as this can be put on hold."
"I can't believe my fiancée is a salamander," he joked. "My whole life is a lie."
"No, not usually." He crossed his arms. "I leave them."
"Well, whoever said that is wrong," she told him. "You have nice eyes."
He laughed. "Are you secretly a salamander?"
