She laughed quietly. "Nothing. I just think it's cute how you mumble to yourself when you work."

"Bears are scary."
She pursed her lips, resting against the case while she watched.
"I'm decent," he replied. "You?"
"Excuse me?" He raised an eyebrow. "I was not."
She went to take a look, peering in. "Two racks of paprika."
Francis joined moments later, setting his stuff down. "Hey."
"Have you even met a bear?" he asked. "They are mean."
She leaned against the wall again, her arms crossed thoughtfully.

"I don't want to get attack by the bear."
She pulled away, nodding. "Alright."

"I don't know about that," he said. "Maybe we should just stick with salamanders for now."
She laughed, resting her head on his shoulder. "I should've known."
