She kissed his cheek. "Even if it isn't in the job description?"
He started the car backed up, turning around to leave without another thought.
"Probably," he said. "Not close to the trail, though."
She frowned playfully. "I guess you don't want it then."
He went and unlocked his car, watching the house before getting in.
He laughed. "I'm glad."
She tilted her head at him thoughtfully, before reaching out her arms. "Alright, fine. Just one hug."
"I suppose so," he said, tilting his head. "See you."
"I'll love you all the same," he told her. "I just prefer you as human."
She shot him a devilish grin. " You have work to do, Curnow."
He glanced at her, pausing for a moment. "It was my pleasure."
"Oh, good," he said. "You had me worried."
She sighed, feigning sadness as she pulled away. "I'm sorry for distracting you. Go do your work."
He looked at her suspiciously. "Yes?"
She blushed slightly, her eyes meeting the ground. "I meant right now."
He shook his head. "I'd spend time with you anyways."
"You're welcome," he mumbled, pulling his car keys out of his pocket.
She laughed softly, before tilting her head at him with a smile. "I hope I'm not distracting you from your work."
"Are you suggesting we spend more time together than we already have been?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
