"No," he said, recalling the previous cat. "The other one was orange, I think."
"Then you would have no crew and Natalia would be mad at you."
"Sure," he said, standing up. "Is it banana slugs?"
"I think he lives here," he said. "There used to be a different cat, but I don't think he's around anymore."
"The silent treatment goes above all orders." She crossed her arms. "You should know that."
He tilted his head, watching her. "What is it?"
"I agree," he said, looking down as a black cat came to greet them. "I don't remember that, though."
"Fake spiders. Maybe I'll get the whole crew to give you the silent treatment."
"I don't think I'll have to talk to him again," he said, following her gaze. "Foggy, huh?"
"Often," he told her. "Mostly for school."
"I trust you won't be an ass," she said. "Even if you are, I'll try to refrain."
His expression turned to disgust. "Mayonnaise?"
"It hasn't changed much," he said, looking around. "I'm surprised."
"I won't mess with you," she said. "I promise."
"Oh really?" he asked. "How?"
