He opened the door for her, the bell ringing lightly. The area wasn't quite open, but it was still nice and homely.
"Quite often." She nodded. "It's funny."
He gasped, acting as if he were offended. "I bet you two gossiped about me."
He nodded, stopping in front of a building labeled 'The Bookery.' "Yeah. It's nostalgic."
"It will be amazing," she replied, stretching her arms.
"That's true," he agreed. "I still disliked him before all this, though."
"Not too much farther," he said, looking along the buildings. "Were almost there."
"I know," she said with a smile. "That's why I'm excited! It's fun to mess with mean people."
"That's understandable," he said. "You didn't know, though."
"I'm happy as well," he said. "It'll be lovely."
"Oh, good." She grinned. "I'm excited."
"You know what I mean," he replied. "He'll be going away."
He stopped to kiss her, his hand brushing back her hair. I don't think you were unhappy. I would tell you I'd like to spend the rest of my life...
She grinned and gave him a kiss. "I'm glad you think so."
"Domestic violence is a crime," he said. "Evan could go to jail or something."
"Only, like, three," he said. "Most of the time it wasn't my fault."
"Amazing?" she asked thoughtfully. "That's amazing?"
"Fixated on me, huh?" He tilted his head. "What's going to happen to him?"
"Are you positive?" He smiled. "I did ask, after all."
