Avice approached him, a smile on her face. She had neatly folded blankets in her arms. "Nice and quick!"
He laughed, brushing back her hair. "Did you really just stop?"
"I have a heart, despite my actions."

He kissed her jaw. "Woops."
"Why's that?"
She started off towards her room, putting her hair up into a messy bun as she went.
"You asked for it," he said. "I'm only delivering."
"Everyone has a heart," he responded. "You should know that."
She nodded. "That works. I'll see you there soon, then?"
"I disagree," he replied, leaning over to kiss her cheek. "I'm glad I did."
"Yeah, but then everyone else's work is ruined." He frowned. "I can't fix that."
"Okay!" she said cheerfully, her expression joyful.
He frowned. "The sarcasm is strong."
"Lame," he said, "but true."
She smiled at him, then kissed his cheek. "I know."
"This level of sass is not needed," he commented. "Tone it down."
"Maybe it exploded while we were gone."
