She smiled. "I'd like to be with you as well."
"Okay," he said, exiting the room to go change.
He raised an eyebrow at her. " Are you okay?"
"Would you ever want to do something like?" she asked.
"I'll go change in the bathroom, real quick if you want."
Francis joined moments later, setting his bag down thoughtfully.
"I dunno," she said. "Maybe. Growing flowers seems nice."
"Yeah," he agreed. "And pointless."

"I don't know. Something simple, I think," she said. "Like selling stuff."
"I'm not," he said. "I promise."
He gave her a wave, before leaving, shifting the bag on his shoulder.
"No," she replied smoothly. "Not once."
He sat on the edge of the bed. "Fine. Whatever."
He frowned. "I'll leave, but not because you told me to."
She watched thoughtfully. "I'm lucky, too."
"Yeah, but you kept pulling over," he said. "That's not multitasking."
She seemed surprised, but said nothing as she felt her heartbeat quicken. "You mean it?"
"It's no problem," he said. "It wasn't too bad."
