"Peaceful," she responded, looking up at him. "Perfect.'
"We'll switch halfway," he said. " Then we'll see how you like it."

"I think that'd be nice," she agreed. "What else?"
"I suppose that works, despite how much I want to kiss you back."

"Anywhere," she said. "Somewhere quiet, maybe. What about you?"
"Mm," he muttered, facing forward. "Fine."
"Right," he said. Exiting the room.
"Jobs don't last forever, you know," she commented. "And I doubt people will recognize you, if you really wanted that."
"I love you too," he said, turning at the last moment to kiss her.
"That works," he said, standing up. "Thanks."
"I wouldn't leave you," she said. "Do you think you'll leave the ship?"
He frowned, looking at her for a moment. "Be you. You're the one I want to marry."
