"Distracting from what?" His tone was curious, and he tilted his head.
Francis cursed Evan under his breath as he left, going offto conspire with his group.
"That's why I asked when," she admitted. "We shouldn't be talking about it for awhile."
"But why?" he questioned, kissing her cheek. "It sounds lame."
He winced slightly, but said nothing, only gave him a look before continuing.
"When?" she asked, her eyes thoughtful.
"You're still going to training?" he asked, taking her hands.
Francis frowned. "Watch it, Evan." After that he continued walking, his eyebrows furrowing.
"Of course not," she said, kissing him lightly. "I think it's cute."
"Yeah," he said, nodding. "Do you have anything in mind?"
"Grabbing my book," he replied flatly. "Now if I could just be on my way."
She frowned, her hands nervously wringing. "Does it change your opinion of me?"
