She kissed him lightly. "I'm excited."
"Hmph," he mumbled. "Fine."
"I don't always think it's boring. Only when I'm not in the mood to work," he said.
"I'll always have you," she said. "As long as we live works."
"That's lame. I deserve to know."
"How would you know?" he questioned, propping his head up with his hand.
"How long?" she asked, excited for his answer.
"Do you?" he asked, raising his eyebrow. " Like what?"
Francis sighed, resting his head on the desk. "Today is boring."

"Poppy, you could get me a pile of stick and I'm sure I'd be fine with it."
"You stopped to help me," he said simply. "It would be impolite to turn it down."
"Maybe even more," she said, her tone stubborn.
"I probably wouldn't take them back, Poppy. That's bad manners."
"Nobody forced me," he said. "I did it by choice."
She frowned, turning her head to shun him. "How could you? And I thought we could be friends."
"Well, we promised each other we weren't going to break up, so we'll have have to come to an agreement."
"You're curious?" He raised an eyebrow. "You should just mind your own business?"
"I knew you were untrustworthy," she said jokingly.
"Sorry," he said with a grin. "I just don't like gifts."
