"Would you have liked me?" he asked, kissing her temple.
(Yeah)
She snickered, affixing out her tongue. "Ah, it'd be nice to do that again. Maybe I'll challenge some drunk people tonight."
"I probably would," he admitted. "I'd just need to see you once and then acquaint myself with you, y'know?"

"Oh! Is that the time I sliced my finger really bad?" She grinned, as if proud of her injury.
"Why? Just because I played soccer?" he teased, raising an eyebrow.
"Hmph." He enjoyed seeing Evan struggle. "Pompous *squee!*."
"You have?" she asked. "Honestly, I don't remember the first time I saw you that well."
He pursed his lips. "Sometimes. I spent most of my free time on the field, though."
He grumbled, but turned back to watch the football players reactions, smiling slightly.
He kissed her nose. "Shush."
"It did," she said. "Did you have feelings for me before the partnership?"
"Don't worry about it. Anything can be fixed with a little persuasion," he reassured. " Now, go. "
"Those aren't so bad," he said.
She leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I'm glad I've been able to spend so much time with you," she said.
"It doesn't concern you. Now stop worrying." He frowned. "Go away."
He wrapped his arms around her gently, resting his head on her shoulder. "Thank you for not going to the training."
She laughed quietly. "Ah, jeez. I love you."
"I can fix things, you know," he said. "I'm not that much of an ass."
