Francis sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, only stressing a bit. He took her hand gently after a moment, hoping to relax.
After he kissed her cheek, she paused, and moved forward to wrap her arms around his torso. "Is the headache bad?" she asked quietly, leaning...
"Okay," he said. "Thank you."
"No. I hate them all. Spiders are bad too, but I really just hate snakes a lot."
He frowned, looking at the ground. "I know," he said slowly. "I will."
"I hate snakes. They're disgusting and bad and gross." She shook her head. "Ew."
"Alright," he said, folding his hands. "Good. Thank you."
She stuck out her tongue. "Everyone has weaknesses, Curnow. Like snakes."
He looked up at the nurse, considering the question. "Yes, I am."
She laughed. "Ah, yes. Does this mean I'm your weakness?"
He gently brushed her hair off her face before sitting quietly, sighing deeply as he recounted the events.
She crossed her arms. "Even if I ask really nicely? And with a kiss?"
"I love you too," he said softly. "I'll stay here."
She smiled slightly. "Alcohol is bad for you, so that's probably good."
"Then you should sleep," he said, leaning down to kiss her forehead.
"You did it because we argued. It made me feel bad," she said, pursing her lips.
He nodded. "Yeah, it would. Are you tired?"
"Sometimes it can last as long as a day, but I think the pain lessens. It's rough to deal with," she said, taking his hands.
"It is not. Spare me the embarrassment and I won't have to kill you." He crossed his arms.
She grinned, and leaned forward to kiss his nose. "I think so too."
