"I wouldn't hurt myself. I only get hurt by enemies."
"Hm. That's unfortunate," was all he said, resting his head on his hand and turning back to his own work.
"Everyone respects you, Jack. I should know." She crossed her arms.
"I'm just teasing," he said.
"Neat," he murmured, then raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you Evan's girlfriend?"
"What would Natalia think if I told her that was your preferred nickname, hmm?"
"Aw, c'mon," he said, grinning. "Please?"

"I believe it," she said. "The master of sharks."
"I can be extra nice to you," he said. "Somehow."
"Well, catching a shark would be awesome. You were right about that."
"But I want to," he persisted. "C'moooon?"
She kissed his cheek. "It's okay! You're right a lot more than I am!"
"It was not meant as a threat, I promise." He chuckled.
"Because I wanted to do it more," she said. "And isn't Watson the doctor?"
"Okay," he said slowly, then his grin turned playful. "I'll have to take care of you."
"You mean we, my dear Watson," she teased.
