Separate names with a comma.
"Mhmm," he mumbled, pulling away to look at her. "Sorry."
"I was just curious, I suppose." She shrugged. "For future reference."
"I know," he said, gently kissing her neck. "I missed you a lot, too."
"Yep!" she stepped, closing the door behind her. "Also, parlez-vous français?"
He moved her cheek, planting kisses down to her jaw. "Good," he said softly. "You should."
She took the easel and disappeared in her room. There was some shuffling before she came back, her head poking out to look at him.
"Poppy, it wasn't your fault. Trust me," he said, leaning down to give her a kiss.
"Thank you," she said smoothly, turning to him. "I'm going to set it up real quick, okay?"
He propped himself up on his elbow, looking at her. "It was not your fault, okay?"
"Exactly! We are pirates, and therefore asking each other if we killed someone is odd."
"I was sad. I wanted a pet. You're not allowed to judge me." He pursed his lips, looking up at her.
"Answer the question, Jack." She had a playful grin. "Have you killed someone?"
"Finn will have to defend his own honor. Besides, whoever is attacking a fish should probably be the one with the questioned honor."
"Not recently," she replied, crossing her arms. "Have you?"
(I know, haha. Makes my heart flutter kinda) "I don't need to defend Finn," he said. "Nobody would attack him."
"Like murder?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Finn doesn't growl, though," he said, looking up at her. "And he doesn't need to be walked."
"Excuse you," she said. "I'm virtually perfect, mkay?"
He rested his head on her shoulder, sighing. "He may not be able to defend well, but at least he doesn't made noise."
"I'm telling you," she said, grinning. "I'm an angel."
