"You'd rather complain than do nothing? Hm." He looked down at her, an eyebrow raised. "I like that."
"It's not worth the time. We should just be glad it was a short meeting," he said, his footsteps loud on the floor.
"We appreciate the information. Thank you as well." He stood up, giving him a nod.
(Francis probably has a set script for meetings that he memorized. Lol) "Hm. Alright. I'm sure it will work out as we hope." He leaned back,...
"Alright. Is there any other information we may need?'
Francis took a seat, crossing his legs. "It's good to see you as well. What do you have for us?"
"Yeah, but not as bad as I originally thought. I imagined you'd be overbearing, but I was wrong about that part."
"Two weeks ago I thought you were some science nerd," he said sarcastically, letting go of her hand to open a door.
He squeezed her hand for a moment. "Mm. Yeah. It'll all be fine," he said quietly, repeating her.
"Yeah. Too bad it's necessary to go. Though, I should curious to hear more about the new place we're going."
"Yeah. Let's," he said, turning and walking to the door. "Wouldn't want to miss it or anything."
"It's fine. It's not too embarrassing. It definitely could be worse." He smiled, rubbing the back of his neck.
He looked down at her, then at Phos. "Yeah. He's already looking into the far future."
"I- Woah there. That's a little too far away to think about just yet. You might have to a wait awhile, yeah?" He chuckled.
He nodded. "Yeah, it did. Really well."
Francis turned to Phos, crossing his arms. "Thanks for giving me to confidence to talk to her. I needed it."
"Were doing really good," he said smoothly. "Pretty good. How about you?"
"Right. We'll talk about that part later," he said quietly, before cocking his head. "Phos?"
"Wow, really? That's funny. I just didn't see a reason for you to like me, and I'm still in disbelief that you accepted me."
"Why are you right?" He sighed. "I didn't think I had a chance until I talked to him. I didn't think you liked me."
