Avice made her way to the main deck, leaning slightly overboard to see. She sighed, somewhat disappointed that they couldn't fight. "That's a shame."
I can't tell if this is a serious question or not... But, no, not at all. It's impossible that they are sisters, cousins, aunt/nieces, or anything...

Avice scrambled around for the box of matches. Once she found them, she simply held them, waiting for the word. "I wonder why they're following us..."

Avice shot him a mischievous and somewhat admiring smile before glancing at the cannons. "Sounds like a plan."
Avice frowned a bit, and padded over to her beloved weaponry. "But the cannons..." she said, mostly joking.

Avice grinned and gave a low, "Aw yeah!" before sliding below deck. She prepared a few of the cannons, filling them with gunpowder and cannonballs.
Avice was messing around on deck, poking at planks and such as she waited to hear back.
