He kissed her back. "There were a few disconnects, is all.. What next?"
He was still laughing, shaking his head slightly. "Sorry I sprayed you."
Zerras stood up and squinted before laughing aloud, the sound bright and playful.
He exhaled slowly, carefully trying to move the sprinklers back into place with his magic. His brows furrowed as he concentrated on his task.
He sighed, frowning as he got down and put his hands to the ground, closing his eyes as he focused.
He frowned. "Let me help, June."
He pursed his lips before joining her. "Let me help."
He tilted his head slightly, a small frown crossing his face. "We don't have to."
He tilted his head. "Probably."
"I might be able to adjust with earth magic to move the pipes and allow you to direct the water easier."
He followed her. "I think you could," he explained, "but I think together we could fix the pipes ourselves, maybe."
"Hm," he murmured, looking at the ground. "We might be able to figure it out."
"How did they work previously?" he asked. "What broke?"
He tilted his head curiously. "What is it?"
"I'm okay," he said warmly, running a hand through his hair. "What can I do next?"
He approached, his eyes bright. "June, I finished!"
He watched her go, a small smile on his face, looking back down and feeding the chickens again.
He nodded, giving a small smile. "Alright. I'll see you there, then."
