"I'm okay," he told her smoothly. "Don't worry. We'll get there soon."
He glanced back at her curiously. "I know."
They flew for a long time. Eventually, the grassy hills once again became visible as the sun began to lower.
"I love you too," he told her, watching ahead.
He laughed a little, looking ahead. "Yeah."
He turned his head slightly, his gaze curious. "What?"
he shifted for a moment before taking off again, starting toward the sky.
He getting down a little for her. "Yeah. Don't worry."
"You should get on my back this time, though," he said, shifting as his wings returned. "It's more secure than my arms."
