He laughed a little, putting back the caramel one. "Alright. Ready to check out?"
He looked back down at the choices. "Well, this one has a caramel flavor, but this one has little marshmallows in it.."
"Cocoa," he told her distractedly before looking up. "What's wrong..?"
He looked in surprise before looking back down. "Hey. I can't pick between these two kinds."
He was on the end of one aisle, kneeling down as he looked between two boxes with a frown.
He didn't return after a few minutes.
He nodded, heading down the aisles and disappearing from sight.
"There's this stuff I used to like," he explained. "I was wondering if they have it here. It's a drink."
He put some cans in a basket before turning to her. "Would you pick out some stuff you like? I had an idea for something to get real quick."
He found the food, picking some out curiously.
It was a general store, selling various items people may need. He began looking for the food.
He laughed again, delighted by her optimistic attitude. "Of course I will. Here, let's check out this store."
He shook his head slowly. "Nope, nothing else. I'm afraid you might be overestimating it, though."
He rolled his eyes playfully, kissing her head. "Yes. It's us."
"I'm sure. You only two people to cuddle, and those roles are filled."
He laughed, kissing her temple warmly. "You're cute. No, we won't need anything."
"All I can think is food, but let me know if anything else interests you."
He watched her fondly, slowly forgetting his worries. "It was. Let's find a shop to go to."
He pursed his lips, looking down at her in mild surprise. "Yeah. I completely forgot when you came back today."
He shook his head slightly as he led her out into the sunlight again. "No, I'm just.. confused. It's fine."
