She nodded, seeming satisfied. "Okay."
His frown deepened and he sat down again. "I guess.. I'll stay here."
She took his hand gently. "Please?"
He rubbed the back of his neck with a frown. "It's like hugging while laying down, sorta. Or being close to each other while laying down."
"Because you're you," she said gently. "Would you try and get some sleep before we start walking for the day?"
"No, it's not," he clarified, shaking his head in surprise. "You don't know what it is?"
She ran a hand through his hair gently. "You mean so much to me, Ben."
He blinked in surprise, tilting his head. "Cuddling?"
He frowned, brushing her hair back gently. "I want to go with.."
She sat up, wrapping her arms around him and kissing his cheek.
He kissed her back, but pulled away after a moment. "Does that mean I can go?"
She frowned, taking his hand. "I'm sorry."
He shook his head, getting up. "I'm fine, June.'
She relaxed slightly at his voice. "Hey. Did you sleep..?"
He frowned and sat up, running a hand through his hair. "I'll go with you."
She woke slowly, yawning as she looked around.
He looked tired, dropping his head again. "It's fine, June. It's not your responsibility."
