She was still and quiet, her hand resting lightly on his leg.
He nodded slowly, quieting again.
She slowly drifted off, leaning into his touch.
He murmured in response. "So it's okay?"
She nodded, shifting and resting her head on his lap. She closed her eyes again, and it took her awhile to sleep.
"I shouldn't touch your waist," he replied softly, his voice still rather sleepy.
She gave him a small kiss. "I really love you, Ben."
He watched her for a moment, moving his arms from her waist before closing his eyes again.
She looked up at him nervously, resting her hand on his jaw. "I suppose.."
His arms shifted, moving around her waist as he began to wake sleepily.
She turned her head slightly, kissing his side softly. "I love you Ben.."
The night passed without incident. The next morning Zerras had turned, his arms wrapped around her again.
She leaned into him, closing her eyes tiredly.
He lightly kissed the top of her head before closing his eyes. He fell asleep surprisingly quick.
She looked up at him with a nervous frown, kissing the corner of his mouth.
He slipped an arm around her, pulling her close to him. "Goodnight."
She still seemed worried, keeping close. "Maybe.."
He rested his head down, looking over at her for a moment before sticking his tongue out.
She hugged him slowly. "You shouldn't be apologizing. You know.. This isn't something I'd be worried about if I had plans of breaking it off."
"You're you," he replied easily, leaning back. "That trumps everything."
