"Surprise me?" she asked, looking up at him.

Cal crossed her arms at him. "He's not a traitor, Puck."
"It's not the type of thing friends generally do," he said quietly.
"That could've been a kidnapping," she told Puck lightheartedly, laughing slightly.
"Mhmm," he murmured, turning his head into the bedroll. "It's good."
She relaxed now that he was back, her gaze soft. "What'd you get?"
"We're doing it now, aren't we?" he asked, his voice soft.
He grumbled sleepily. "I told you hugging was okay."
She brightened a little. "What is it like there?"
His eyes were still closed. "I'm okay."
She tilted her head. "You did? In town?"
