Cal didn't wake when he left, turning over in her sleep.
His arm rested over her shoulders and looked down at her with a small look of surprise. "You do?"

"I didn't trust him," he said with a small shrug.
It didn't take long for her to sleep, the days events finally catching up.
"It's sort of a fear or panic response," he told her. "All demons have it."
She grinned at him before shifting close and closing her eyes.
He rubbed his arm with a small frown. "It's a reflex."
She turned to face him as well. "Goodnight."
"It's not that much better," he said, laying out the blanket and sitting down.
She squinted slightly. "Yeah.."
"Sort of," he said, laying out the bedroll. "Why?"
"I don't see a fox shape."
He didn't respond. They had walked for quite awhile, and Zerras stopped as the sun dipped below the horizon. "Should we set up camp?"
She squinted. "Constellations always confused me a little.."
He frowned thoughtfully, running a hand through his hair. "Not that I can think of.."
"Hm.. No, not that one."
