A slow smile crossed his face as he raised an eyebrow at her. "You want me to teach you to be sarcastic?"

He laughed a little, squeezing her hand. "I can tell."
She didn't seem completely convinced and looked up again. "Yeah."
He looks confused, turning ahead. "No..?"
"They're still scary. Besides.. Everything else that's going on with the Ortus as well.."
His brows furrowed slightly. "What?'
"I'm nervous," she said quietly. "It's a scary thing."
He nodded slowly. "It's a rather poor kingdom, though.'
She looked over at Ben, appearing nervous.
"It's another desert city," he recalled slowly. "They have a lot of festivals. Apparently a lot of people move there for the freedom and fun, and...
Cal was quiet, looking up at the stars with a small frown as well.
"No," he told her easily, raising an eyebrow at her. "Not at all."
"Huh," she said quietly, lying back. "Alright, then.."
He rolled his eyes lightly, shaking his head. "Serious, though."
She frowned slightly. "Where are we going?"
He flushed but didn't mention it, standing straight again. "You're welcome. Let me know if your legs start to hurt."
She sighed, setting out her sleeping area. "Oh well. How many more days until we reach the kingdom?"
