Cal squinted at the houses, pursing her lips.
His frown only deepened and he took the bag from his back. "Hop on."
"I said I'm okay either way," she replied with a frown. "If it doesn't work let's just find a place to camp.:
He glanced down at the bandages. "..Yes."
"Of course, we don't have to," she said. "It's just a curiosity.."
He frowned again. "Are you sure. I don't want you to be hurt."
She laughed a little nervously. "What it's like inside."
He looked unconvinced, but tipped his head slightly to the side. "You could ride on my back, if you'd like."
Cal frowned slightly. "I an curious."
His frown deepened as he held her hand. "Are you okay?"
Cal looked around with a frown. "Where do we go?"
He stood up and offered a hand with a small frown.
Cal was quiet again, focusing on the town ahead of them.
"Yup," he replied easily before shaking his head. "Anyways.. Can you walk?"
She pulled her hand to her chest, her brows furrowing slightly before she dropped it.
"To be fair," he replied slowly, "it was a bad situation."
She looked up at him and reached to touch his shoulder. "Don't be cross."
He laughed slightly, raising an eyebrow. "Like meeting me?"
She smiled slightly. "It still counts."
