He looked over at her, squinting in the dark. In the gloom she would see the box, sitting on a carved stone pedestal.
She nodded slightly, squeezing his hand. "Yeah.."
He followed her. It would be hard to see and the light only got dimmer and the water colder. It was a big enough cave, with several large holes...
She was frowning, looking down. "I feel upset about that and I'm not really sure why."
It was deep and dark, a black abyss that she would see no end to.
She looked down slightly. "Just, uh.. Let us know when you're ready."
They swam for awhile before she would see the cave, nearly hidden by kelp.
Cal looked up at him, her head tilted. "We were thinking we might want to consider leaving a little early, to get a head start.."
He was following, still looking around with a small frown. "Okay.."
She nodded, heading for the door.
It looked like the arm of skeleton, which is what the statue depicted. It was almost like a trail of breadcrumbs, one piece leading to the next.
She kissed his cheek. "We'll get back soon."
Zerras blinked, following her quickly. "What is it?"
She nodded, stretching her arms over her head. "We should go talk to Puck about that, right?"
After awhile of skimming the outskirts she would spot a piece of a statue, half covered by sand.
She tilted her head. "Maybe we should. It wouldn't hurt, right?"
He followed her, still seeming rather concerned.
She laughed slightly, tying her hair up. "How much longer until we leave?"
