"Maybe," he said with a frown. "It would be helpful."
She rested her hand on the back of his neck. "I mean it, though."
"I don't know," he said with a frown. "I know just as much as you do."
She reached up, running a hand through his hair. "You're handsome, Ben."
He seemed to ease up a bit, his face softening. "..Okay."
She flushed slightly, looking up at him. "I'm alright. How are you?"
He exhaled slowly, still seeming unsure. "Well.. We'll see."
She looked up at him, tilting her head. "Hey."

She was sitting on the edge of his bed as she waited, leaning back on her hands.
"It's fine," he said with a frown. "It's nothing. I just need to figure out what I'm actually going to do after all of this."
"Yeah," she said warmly, kissing his cheek. "I'll be there." She started back towards the room.
"I'm not mad at you," he said with a frown. "Can we just drop it?"
She followed him, stacking her plate.
He looked ahead again, his brows furrowed. He shook his head slightly, his whole body tense. "Let's just keep looking."
She nodded in agreement, going silent as they ate.
He raised an eyebrow at her, his eyes sharp. "You what?"
She looked out as well. "Not really.. Are you?"
He looked uncomfortable and almost defensive, shaking his head he started off in the direction of the castle.
She nodded slightly, tilting her head back. "Yeah.. We will."
