She looked over at him warmly. "Yeah. It's really nice here."
He swam towards her and grabbed her hands, pulling her back up to the surface with him.
She grinned at him before looking at the transcripts. "They're super cool. You'd be set to read for a long time."
Zerras's eyes widened, and he dipped below the surface to grab her, squinting in the water.
She pursed her lips, carefully maneuvering to go look.
He looked uncertain, but followed her with a small frown.
She looked up, her head tilted. "No, what are they?"
He frowned slightly, holding onto her hands. "But you said you can't swim."
She gave him a small smile. "At least the library is nice."
He raised his eyebrows at her. "See? It's not so bad. "
"Hm," she murmured, looking back down at her book. "I'll have to go look eventually."
It was blurry, but she could sort of see, as you do with water. His eyes were closed and he reemerged shortly after.
"What's it like outside?" she asked curiously. "Is it pretty?"
He caught her hand with a laugh. "See? It's not that bad," he said affectionately before dipping underwater as well.
She laughed softly, resting her head on her hand. "What kind of books did you choose?"
He watched her, raising an eyebrow with a small laugh as he followed.
"It's fantastic," she agreed, watching him affectionately. "It seems like your kind of place."
He laughed, slowly dipping lower in the water and taking her hands. "It'll help you get used to it faster."
She looked up at him with a small smile. "What did you find?"
He watched her with a small smile, tilting his head. "Alright. I'll be right here."
