He woke a few hours later, looking around with a sleepy yawn.
She hesitated, tipping her head back to look. "What do you think will happen?"
He shifted sleepily, putting an arm around her shoulder.
She looked up in surprise, her gaze hopeful. "It does?"
Zerras stayed still, his gaze peaceful. He may have drifted to sleep.
She paused, suddenly looking embarrassed. "You don't have to. I just want you to find somewhere you'll be happy."
They laid there for awhile, the sun heating them up and the water cooling them. The sand was soft beneath them.
"You might not like it there," she considered quietly. "It's rather boring."
He nodded, looking up again and closing his eyes.
"You could always stay with me," she offered warmly.
He looked over at her thoughtfully. "Are you okay?"
"I think they will," she said gently. "What do you think you'd want to do?"
"It feels nice," he said earnestly, his eyes closed. "The water the sun."
"It depends," she said again, tilting her head slightly. "What are you going to do?"

He laid back, allowing the waves to lap at his legs.
She looked up at him, her head tilting. "I'm not sure.. I suppose it depends."
He sat down on the shore, leaning back onto his hands as the sun beamed down at them.
Her blush deepened. "Hm.. Yeah."
He reached over and ruffled her hair lightheartedly. "It's bound to happen when you're a tall target."
