The sand was coarse and a little rocky. Zerras rolled his eyes. "I think we'll be okay."
She relaxed a little, looking over at him. "Do you think it will be okay?"
"Our skin isn't that hot," he complained, pursing his lips. "It'll be nice."
"I don't want to rest," she said quietly, closing her eyes under his touch. "I want to just be here with you."
"Of course," he replied easily. "I have no reason not to."
She did look tired, but shook her head. "I didn't want to sleep."
"Wearing all your clothes definitely won't help you swim," he informed her. "Maybe we'll find proper attire there."
She turned her body slightly, looking small and anxious. "Ben.."
"I'm not sure," he said thoughtfully, "but I don't have anything either. I'm sure we'll be alright."
She looked back at him nervously, her brows furrowed.
"I'm sure it's shallow enough by the shore," he said with a small laugh, looking down at her curiously. "You'll live."
Cal was laying down, her back to the door as she curled up, her brows furrowed.
He gave her a small smile. "Thanks. I'm sure Ozepan will work well for you, since you can cool off in the water a bit."
