He reached over and rustled her hair. "That's up to your mother, though."
"A bit," she admitted, closing her eyes for a moment. "C'mon, my room is this way."
"Why wouldn't I want to?" he asked gently. "I think I'd like it, probably."
She nodded slightly before turning to Puck with a small smile, her gaze rather tired. "Thanks."
"I would like to," he admitted smoothly, "but I am afraid she wouldn't be easily swayed. Then again, I don't know her."
She looked thoughtful before turning to Ben. "Maybe you can go to the library and find a cool book and meet me back at my room?" she asked...
He looked down at her thoughtfully. "I don't think I could, since.. Y'know. I'm me."
She relaxed a little, a small frown still on her face.
He frowned, looking thoughtful. His gaze was ahead. "No, I'm still not sure."
She took the cube with a small frown, seeming reluctant to use it. She did, though, tapping it twice with her pinky.
He gave her a small nod, setting off back on the road and leaving the tribe behind.
She nodded slightly, standing straight again. "Yes, please."
He gave her a small smile. "Don't worry. I'll help you.'
"You guys need to quit your arguing," she muttered, leaning down and resting her hands on her knees tiredly. "I'm gonna go to my room."
"Technically it's a giant lake," he corrected playfully. "But we'll see the ocean eventually."
Cal looked tired, sighing as she started moving on her own. She didn't say anything to them.
"You don't know how to swim at all?" he asked curiously, looking over at her. "I thought you just might've been a weak swimmer."
She nodded, leaning slightly against Ben as they went to leave the room.
He nodded, slipping his bag on his back. "Great," he said easily. "Next stop, Ozepan."
She frowned, reaching over and touching Puck's shoulder before looking to the council. "All we suggest is remaining wary and preparing yourself...
