He looked over at her, his head tilted curiously. "Yeah, June?"
"I haven't seen any other faeries," she said with a frown. "It feels strange."
Zerras had just returned. He was shuffling through his bag with a small frown, having folded up his blanket carefully.
Cal looked nervous, she had been trying to walk instead of fly when they went to the meeting room, holding onto Ben nervously as they waited.
The next morning, Zerras woke rather early. He had slipped away from their camp to do some business within the tribe.
It took him awhile to sleep, but he drifted off eventually, his head turning into the blanket.

He turned over with a small yawn, shutting his eyes to sleep, the heat of the fire warm against his back.
She nodded slightly, taking Ben's hand and heading back to change.
He gave her a grin, shaking his head slightly. "We should get to sleep. We still have a ways to go."
She paused, looking down at herself with a small laugh. "Definitely. No, let me change first."
He raised his eyebrows at her curiously, his gaze tracing her features. "Is that so?"
Cal seemed nervous, but nodded slightly. "Okay.."
He tilted his head thoughtfully, considering it. "That's not really a bedroll though, is it?"
"We're all okay," she said again, quieter this time. "So it's okay."
He rolled his eyes with a small smile. "Next to me, you mean."
Cal hesitated slightly, looking between the two of them. "At least we all made it out.."
He laughed a little, looking up at her. "Me?"
Cal looked over at Ben hesitantly. "What?"
He looked up at her hand curiously. "You did."
