Dusty leaned in at the bar. "Edmond. It's winding down. I am ready to tell you how to get to the sub-basement."
"Hmm. Think we could combine those?"
"Really? All I heard about there was that wedding, and some other stuff."
Raven raised an eyebrow. "That's real?"
"I guess. Um... what's a bugbear?"
"Oh, yeah, just sounded like a cool story."
It seemed like an interesting story. Maybe Raven should keep listening.
"Yeah, I'm pretty hard to get rid of, huh?"
"I... played her a song like a true romantic. And good. It's going good."
She nodded. "Yeah... you're right, sorry." She straightened herself up and sat across from him, then took a deep breath to purge the starstruck state.
"Cannonball Run... wants to eat with me?"
