She looked up at him gratefully. "Okay.. If you say so."
He sighed slowly, looking through the bag of food for something for her. "I suppose.."
"I just don't know what to do," she said quietly, her brows furrowing anxiously.
He raised an eyebrow at her. "I'm really not."
"He's been kind of mean about it," she admitted. "Plus.. I don't really want him to think that I sent you to defend me."
He nodded slightly. "We can conserve. I wasn't gonna force you until you opened mine."
She shook her head slightly. "Not.. Not really. I told him that I like you. He really doesn't like you."

"We'll be fine, June. Besides, you already opened one for me."
(Yoop!)
He frowned at her before opening his bag and showing her a considerably sized bag of coins. "See?"
She went back to her room, trying desperately not to cry.
His grip on it was strong. "I have money," he said tiredly. "Don't worry about running out."
She whimpered slightly, immediately covering her mouth to stifle it before turning, going to leave.
"We'll likely find other villages along the way," he said with a frown. "Just have some of your own food for tonight. We can pick up more."
"That's.. That's fine, Puck. I just.. You aren't looking at anyone else's side. You're just assuming things."
He pulled away from her. "Yeah? Are you going to eat some of the fish?"
