"I expected you to have some decency," she said sharply. "Why should I feel guilty for liking him, Puck? You're.. You're just saying these things...
He squinted, standing up and taking the bag of food, pulling out something she picked for herself.
She faltered a little, looking hurt. "You're being really mean, Puck..."
He got up. "June, you better get yourself food too or so help me."
He squinted, propping himself up on his arm.
"Hey," she said seriously. "Don't be rude. You don't know the story."
He glowered at her. "That's not how this is going to work."
"You've been my best friend since we were kids, Puck," she said, reaching out to touch his shoulder. "I don't want to lose that."
He watched her for a moment and sighed, moving to lie down. "Fine."
She hesitated, looking over at him. "I.. I like Ben, but.. I still want to be your friend."
He huffed a little. "I can get more before we leave, June."
She shrugged slightly. "I guess.. I just want to clear everything up."
He crossed his arms. "It's already been awhile. Just choose something."
"I just wanted to talk," she said quietly, leaning against the railing.
He gave her a look. "You need to eat. I have money now."
She came over to stand next to him, hee brows furrowed slightly. "I came to look for you.."
He frowned, reaching over to the back to bring out some food. "What do you want to eat?"
She hesitated, tugging in her hair before coming over. "Hey, Puck."
His frown deepened and he reached over to ruffle her hair. "I should have told you."
