They continued away towards the light, Zerras frowning slightly as they went. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"I know," she said softly, "but I don't know what I can do to fix it."
He laughed a little, taking it and using it. "Thanks."
She nodded slightly, seeming to understand. "Do you think you'll be happier in the long run? To, y'know... end it?"
He looked back with a frown and nodded. He started forward, moving with the slightest limp. "Yes. Let's go."
She looked over at him. "What do you mean?"
He frowned, still seeming worried. He shifted on his feet. "I'll be fine. I can walk."
"I don't know," she said quietly. "I still feel like I messed everything up."
It was completely frozen, the eyes stony and unmoving. He frowned, looking up at her. "Do you have any bandages?'
She looked down, her brows furrowed. "I'm sorry."
She observed him, figuring it might be best not to get into any touchy conversation. She wanted this to be okay, at least. "Is your leg okay?"
He got up, moving to check it with a frown.
She was quiet, her voice sad. "Things have changed so much so soon."
It didn't look too terrible, and he sat up. "Your arm. Is it okay?"
She frowned a little, looking over at him again as if trying to read his expression. "Yeah.. He does."
His leg was scratched, but he didn't seem to mind much. "I'm fine.. Are you okay?"
