She noticed his flush and quickly went to the door. "There can be two separate sides. It's a big bed."
"No," he said quickly. "We can find it on our own."
She brightened a little, but her head tilted. "The bed is big. We could each have our own side."
"I'm just looking for the next one. I don't know when the merchants open up."
"Do I have to sleep here?" she asked hesitantly, looking up at him. "I can't go with you?"
His frown deepened. "I'm not hungry."
She closed her eyes and leaned into his touch. "I'm alright.."
"That's not fair. Make it be the other way around."
She seemed reluctant to let him go, but eventually pulled away. "Okay."
