She looked around in surprise before turning to him with a wide grin. "That was amazing, Fer!"
He watched her, teaching up and tucking her hair behind her ear. "I love you."
She noticed his expression and straightened the bag on her shoulder. "Oh, jeez. Yeah."
He kissed her back slowly, his hands on her waist. He seemed entranced, going completely silent.
She tilted her head curiously. "Yeah, of course I do."
"I'd like our normal," he said softly, looking down at her.
She grinned, taking his hand. "Shall we?"
He laughed slightly. "Depends on how you mean it. Probably not completely normal until Eve is stopped.
She flushed a little, looking up at him. "I love you."
He watched her with furrowed brows. "I don't want to be in the middle of something. I want things to be normal."
She laughed warmly, resting her head on his shoulder for a moment. "Maybe after dinner."
He raised an eyebrow at her. "I nearly beat two guys to death. I'd like to be prepared if something like that happens again."
She grinned, coming down the stairs to him and putting an arm around his waist. "I'd kiss your cheek, but I dont want to get lipstick on you."
"It's okay," he said, waving it off. "I said I'd work on meditation."
Her hair fell in curls over her shoulders, and she fixed her makeup before going out onto the landing nervously.
"That sounds good," he said thoughtfully. "Maybe we can set up a room.."
She grinned, going back into the bedroom and getting dressed.
He looked down at her. "Meditation?"
She grinned and went out onto the landing. "Ferris! I love it!"
He kissed her head warmly. "I love you too."
