"I saw you," she said brightly, stepping back and taking his hands. "And the note and flowers. I was alright as well. I really missed you."
He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Is that so bad?"
She rolled her eyes, burying her face in his shoulder and taking in his familiar smell. "God, I love you. How were you?"
