It was a beautiful day in Equestria. The sun was shining, the air was the perfect temperature. A random assortment of beasts were wandering around the abandoned land. No pony was out to enjoy the day. The pegasi were all boxed up in the clouds. The earth ponies were hiding underground, specifically under Ponyville. The Unicorns barricaded Canterlot and were hiding there. Each to their own. None daring to venture out. -800 years ago- "Surprise!" exclaimed an overly hyper, pink pony while jumping out of an open book, "Happy Birthday Twilight!" "Pinkie, it isn't my birthday." Twilight stated distracted by the work at hand. "I know it's not!" Pinkie happily said as she bounced over to Twilight. "I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday again so that way you can have double the happiness on your next birthday!" "Thanks Pinkie, but I really need to concentrate this is a very difficult spe-" "Howdy Twilight!" Apple Jack entered the library. "Ah was wonderin' could you, maybe, fix mah lasso?" "Sure Apple Jack, as soon as I am done this spell" Twilight focused again. "Twilight! I simply must have you try on this new dress I made. I think it would fit you perfectly!" Rarity excitedly exclaimed. "Sure thing Rarity, just hold on, I just need to cast this spell." Twilight's horn started to glow. "TWILIGHT!" Rainbow Dash came crashing through the window and crashed into the wall. Rubbing her head she apologized, "Sorry, that storm is tougher than I thought." "Rainbow! That was dangerous! My spell could have backfired!" Twilight scolded her. "Sorry," said Rainbow Dash not sounding sorry at all, "What cha workin on Twilight?" "I was trying to conjure water from thin air." Twilight explained getting annoyed with the sudden interruptions, "Now if you will all be quiet, I will continue my work." Twilight's horn started glowing again. Suddenly the air in front of her started to shimmer. "Um, excuse me..." There was a sudden flash of light. "What is it Fluttershy?" Twilight was getting really frustrated. "I am so sorry, I just was wondering if I could borrow a children book. One of the bears just had a child." Fluttershy requested, "That is, if it's not too much to ask." Twilight sighed, "Just, please, let me do this spell?" Turning back to the book Twilight noticed something was different, "The Dangers of Animal Mutations? That's not what I had there. I had Water at its Simplest Form." "Hey Twilight?" Rainbow Dash sounded worried, "When did you empty your shelves?" "I didn't" Twilight looked up, sure enough the shelves that were filled seconds ago were all empty, the only book in the library was 'The Dangers of Animal Mutations' "What happened?" "What happened?" asked a green Pegasus with a foamy green mane and a cutie mark of three moths. "I thought you were going to break the clouds, Lightning Chaser!" "Those dirty, no good, stuck up, rotten guards stopped me." Lightning Chaser, a grey and yellow Pegasus whose cutie mark was a dark cloud with a grey and yellow lightning bolt coming down from it, said sounding disappointed. "Seafoam, if there is nothing but barren wasteland out there like they tell us, why is it so important that we never leave?" "They also try to stop us from asking questions, so watch what you are saying." Seafoam warned casting a wary glance at some guards standing not too far off. "I'll say what I want." Lightning Chaser stated boldly, "I will see what is out there if it is the last thing I do." "Oops, sorry." Apologized a young pale blue Unicorn with a turquoise mane as she collided with a white Unicorn with a black mane and tail. The blue Unicorn had three icicles as her cutie mark. The white one's was a black white and grey explosion thing. "No, that was my fault, sorry." Responded the other, "Hey, aren't you Icicle? Didn't we have Cooking Magics together last year?" "I think so," Icicle responded, "I am sorry, what is your name again?" “I’m BlackJack, what brings you here?” He asked politely. “I was just taking a stroll, and you?” She answered with equal politeness. “Oh, I always hang out here. I picked up a few neat spells while watching the other unicorns.” He explained. “Also, its quite relaxing here, it helps me think.” “Think about what?” Icicle inquired. “Lately, I have been wondering what the outside world is like.” BlackJack told her, “We have been taught to believe it is horrible, but what if it’s not?” “That’s a silly question!” Bubbled a pumped up purple filly with a party hat cutie mark, “Just ‘cause it’s your birthday doesn’t mean you can go outside!” “But Vio, haven’t you ever wondered if there’s more to life than this cavern?” A brown colt with a lasso cutie mark asked. “Of course there is, Apple Fritter! You think I am stupid or something?” Vio laughed. “Aren’t you curious to what is outside? There could be giant farms with food, or rocks!” Apple Fritter said wishfully. “What happened to Sweet Apple Acres?” Apple Jack asked as the six friends wandered around an abandoned Pony Ville. The Apple family house was falling in and the barn had many holes in it. The fields were engulfed in weeds, however the apple trees still had apples. “Hey! Apples!” Pinkie bounced over to a tree and picked an apple. “Wait! Pinkie!” Twilight exclaimed, “The apples might not be safe to eat!” It was too late, Pinkie had already eaten the apple. “MMmmm! Juicy!” Pinkie commented. “What are you guys waiting for? We gotta pick some for food!” Together the friends picked enough apples to last about a month, with Pinkie there, give or take a few weeks. After they were fed they decided to talk about their situation. “So, Twilight, what went wrong? Ahre we in a different dimension or somethin’?” Apple Jack asked. “That would be totally UNcool.” Rainbow Dash put in. “I suppose that could have happened, however I believe that would require a teleportation spell or something.” Twilight thought, “All I was trying to do was create water.” “Time!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed. There was a silence as everypony looked at her. “Care to explain Pinkie?” Twilight asked. “Well, you said water. Water, pool parties, duckies, beach balls, sand, dinosaurs, parties, cupcakes, TIME!” Pinkie Pie explained “uh… well time does seem like a logical answer, considering the condition of Sweet Apple Acers and my Library.” Twilight observed. “It appears we have landed in the future!” Everypony was speechless. Fluttershy broke the silence, “So…what do we do?” “Right,” said Twilight having an idea, “Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and I will stay here and search for anypony, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, you go to coudsdale and see if you can find some Pegasi.” “Twilight?” Rarity spoke up, “I think we should go check Canterlot, AJ and Pinkie can stay here.” “Okay, if a group of us do not come back in a week, come look for them.” Twilight ordered, “Lets move out!” The ponies parted ways. “Hey, where ahre you goin?” AJ asked. “Zecora’s place!” Pinkie replied as she bounced toward the forest. “If we ahre in the future, she’s not gonna be there.” AJ pointed out. “You don’t know tha-oof!” Pinkie had jumped over a bush and fallen. “That hole just hit me!” “What hole?” AJ said trotting behind the bush where Pinkie fell. Pinkie pointed to what looked like a small lump in the ground. “I wonder what’s in there!” “Maybe that’s where all the ponies went.” AJ suggested. “Lets go check it out.” They went down the hole, AJ in front, Pinkie bouncing behind. “This is a pretty nice hole!” Pinkie stated. They had walked into a larger cavern. There was a door at the other side. “Looks like it has been used many times.” Pinkie cartwheeled to the door ramming it with her head. “Hello? Anypony home?” She called out. There was silence, then a voice answered, “Who’s there?” Apple Jack quickly came up with fake names, they were in the future, and their names might make ponies suspicions. “I’m, uh, Golden Delicious, and this is my friend, Bounce. We aren’t from around here.” The door opened, “Welcome fellow land ponies! We haven’t had any visitors in years!” A big brown colt greeted them. “Make your selves at home!” The two friends walked into an enormous cavern. It looked like ponyville, but it was underground. There were three major differences though. There was a grand statue of Apple Jack in the center, the ponies were all different and where Sugar Cube Corner should have been, there was a big pink building with a sign that read “Pinkie’s Party Place”. “How strange,” Twilight observed, “I don’t remember there being a giant wall around Canterlot.” “Well, I must say, it makes the town look a lot more regal.” Rarity stated, then walking up to a giant gate on the wall she knocked. The knock was way to quiet to go through the gates thickness. “Rarity, stand back” Twilight ordered, “There is a giant knocker on the gate, it looks like only magic will make it work.” Her horn glowed as the knocker rose, then fell emitting a loud thud. A few seconds later the gate opened. “Welcome to Canterlot, my fellow Unicorns!” A big brown Unicorn greeted them, “Where are you fillies from?” He guided them inside and closed the gate. “My name is Twilight Sparkle, I need to talk to the Princess.” Twilight demanded. “Cloudsdale sure has changed,” Rainbow Dash pointed out. Where Cloudsdale used to be was just a giant thick cloud. An ordinary Pegasus would not have ben able to break it. Rainbow Dash was not a normal Pegasus. “Get ready to follow me in Fluttershy!” Rainbow Dash flew high up in the air, then dropped. Suddenly there was a BOOM and rainbows flew everywhere. Rainbow Dash crashed into the clouds and burst through, Fluttershy made it just in time, the clouds closed up behind them. In the cloud was Cloudsdale. “What have you done? Why have you broken the barrier?” A big brown Pegasus flew up angrily. “We are so sorry mister, we just-“ Fluttershy started. “Why is Cloudsdale in a dome?” Rainbow Dash demanded. “How can Pegasi live here?” “This is how we have lived for countless years, who are you to come in here and act like you know better than us?” The Pegasus raged. “I’m Rainbow Dash, nopony tells me what to do!” Raimbow shouted. “Oh, so you are Rainbow Dash?” The Pegasus asked. “Yeah, that’s right, and this is Fluttershy!” Rainbow said gesturing to Fluttershy. “So you are the one that went on a mad rampage and nearly destroyed Ponyville almost 800 years ago?” The big Pegasus called over some other Pegasus, they grabbed Rainbow. “Hey, what?” Rainbow was confused, “Why would I do that?” She yelled out as the Pegusi dragged her away. “Wait!” Fluttershy shouted and tried to go after Rainbow. “Hold on dear, I know you aren’t really Fluttershy, who are you and your friend really?” the big guy asked. “uh… I-I’m Flutter, I was named after, uh…Fluttershy.” Fluttershy lied,. “Were you friends with that imposter? If you were, we would have to take you to jail as well.” He asked. “Why is she going to j-jail?” ‘Flutter’ inquired. “Any fan of Rainbow Dash’s is a danger to everypony.” He explained. “W-well I just met her… outside of here…” Fluttershy was feeling really guilty about lying. “Don’t be too hard on yourself, you didn’t do anything wrong.” The big guy reassured her, “Feel free to look around.” “Lets go look around!” Pinkie Pie bounced. “I wonder if Sweet Apple Acres is underground as well.” AJ wondered. “You can go check out uh… Pinkie’s Party Place, I’ll look for Sweet Apple Acres.” “Oki doki loki!” Pinkie bounced into the party building. Apple Jack trotted through town and in the direction her farm should have been. “Uh, excuse me?” a voice said, “You look a lot like Apple Jack.” Apple Jack toward the voice, “Who are you?” She asked cautiously. “Oh, sorry, I’m Apple Fritter. Who are you?” The colt asked. “Uh…well…I am Golden Delicious, I descended from the apple family, but did not live near Ponyville. “ AJ invented her fictitious backstory. “Nice to meet you Golden. If your new here, do you have a place to stay?” Apple Fritter asked politely. “Well, now that you mention it, no, I don’t.” She told him, she felt confortable around this colt. “Well, you could stay with my family, we own a farm not to far from here.” He offered. “Thanks, but I have a friend who I need to keep with me.” AJ stated. “Your friend can stay with us as well!” Apple Fritter told her, “Lets go tell her!” And before AJ could protest he ran off toward the town. “Hey wait up! You don’t know where she is!” Pinkie entered the party room. It was quite crowded, but everypony there was partying. “Ooh! This is my jam!” Pinkie exclaimed as she jumped up on the stage and sung along with the song. When she was done she noticed that everypony had stopped dancing and was staring at her. “C’mon everypony! Dance!” “Pinkie Pie?” a voice from the crowd asked. “That’s my na-“ Pinkie started. Luckily AJ had arrived in time to stop her, she grabbed Pinkie’s mouth and ran out of the room. “What were you thinking?” AJ demanded, “If they knew our real names, who knows what would happen?” There was a gasp, looking up AJ saw Apple Fritter and a purple pony staring at them. “Why can we not know your real names?” Apple Fritter stepped forward. “Are you trying to destroy our town?” Their false names were blown, seeing no other choice AJ decided to explain things. “We need to talk.” Twilight woke up not knowing where she was, “Rarity?” She called weakly. There was no reply. Twilight tried to stand up, but noticed that her hooves were chained to the ground. She was in the Canterlot prison. “Is anypony there? What is going on?” She cried out. A black and white unicorn walked over to the bars of the jail cell. “Do you really think you did nothing wrong?” He asked angrily. “What did I do?” Twilight was confused, “Let me talk to the princess!” “And why would I let you do that?” The Unicorn asked, “It was you that discovered eternal life, and who became more powerful than either of the princesses. You also imprisoned them on the sun and moon!” “I did?” Twilight asked, “When did this happen?” “Around 750 years ago.” The Unicorn explained, “Now because of you we are all stuck in this city. We waited in fear for your return. Luckilly Rarity also figured out how to live forever and she put a repelling charm on the city, but I guess it wore off or something.” “Rarity?” Twilight asked. “Yeah, also, that look-a-like you had with you was taken to see her, Rarity is now the ruler of Equestria.” He paused, “You don’t seem like a dangerous Unicorn, why do you not know anything?” “I was attempting a spell, and something went wrong. It teleported us into the future, the last major thing I remember was that the book Air and Water Magic Volume XXII had just came out.” “That was almost 800 years ago.” He stated, “I read a lot.” “What’s your name?” Twilight asked. “BlackJack” The Unicorn answered. Suddenly a door Twilight had not noticed opened and two Raritys walked in. One was wearing a brilliant gown and crown. “BlackJack, open the cell.” The Rarity with the crown ordered. “Yes milady,” BlackJack opened the cell and took off Twilight’s shackles. “So, you both are from the future?” The queen Rarity asked. “Yes.” Twilight answered. “In that case, since you are also Twilight, maybe you could help us.” Future Rarity stated. “How can I help you?” Twilight asked already knowing where this was going. “Seeing what you will do might change the future, but incase it doesn’t, could you stop yourself?” queen Rarity asked. “Well…I guess I will have to try.” Twilight accepted. “Twilight! Do you realize how dangerous and disgusting this is going to be?” the past Rarity asked. “Well, I think since it is my fault all this happened, I should make up for my actions.” Twilight explained. “Well, if you must do it, then I suppose I shall accompany you.” Past Rarity volunteered. “Very well, BlackJack, I want you and another of your choice to accompany them.” Future Rarity ordered. “Yes milady.” BlackJack trotted of to get his companion. Fluttershy fluttered around Cloudsdale trying to figure out a way to free Rainbow Dash without causing a disturbance to anypony. Lost in thought she flew straight into a foamy green Pegasus. “Oh my gosh!” Fluttershy apologized, “I am so sorry!” “No, It was my fault, I should have watched where I was going.” The Pegasus apologized. “No, please, it was my fault. I was the one not paying attention!” Fluttershy insisted. “Hey Seafoam! Everything alright?” A grey and yellow Pegasus flew up. “Yeah, I just ran into someone.” Seafoam explained. “Sorry again.” “No, no it was my fault.” Fluttershy said. “No, it was mine.” Seafoam insisted. Sensing that this would go on for a while the grey and yellow Pegasus interrupted with, “So, who’s this.” Not thinking Fluttershy said, “I’m Fluttershy.” “Get real, Fluttershy lived like, a thousand years ago or something.” The Pegasus stated. “Lightning Chaser, it was 800 years ago.” Seafoam corrected. “Whatever.” Lightning Chaser shrugged. “My friend messed up a spell and it sent all of us into the future.” Fluttershy could not do anymore lying. “No, kidding? Your friend can do magic?” Lightning asked. “Well, she is a Unicorn.” Fluttershy stated. “I thought they died out…oh yeah you’re from the past.” Lightning observed. “Hey, you were friends with the great Rainbow Dash right?” “Lightning, not so loud.” Seafoam warned him. “Yes I was, what did she do to make you guys hate her?” Fluttershy asked. “Well, apparently she was dangerous.” Lightning explained, then paused before saying, “Nobody really knows what she did.” “Well, Rainbow is here.” Fluttershy said, “However she is in jail.” “Well, lets bust her out then!” Lightning said. “Oh would you?” Fluttershy asked hopefully, “Uh… I mean, if it’s not too much trouble.” “No sweat! If you really are from the past, I’ll be able to tell, and if you are, I always wanted to meet Rainbow Dash!” he turned and started flying toward the prison, “C’mon! Lets do this!” Fluttershy and Seafoam followed him. Seafoam looked at Fluttershy, “Um…Excuse me, Fluttershy? There is something I should tell you.” Apple Jack and Pinkie were in a private room in Pinkie’s Party Place with two accusing faces staring at them. Or rather, one accusing face and one that was bouncing in place. “So? What’s the deal with yer names?” Apple Fritter asked. “Why did ya lie to us?” “Yeah! Who are you?” the purple pony put in, who of course was Vio. “Alright, we’ll tell you, but ya’ll better not tell anypony, hear?” AJ ordered. “Kay!” Vio agreed enthusiastically. “Ahm Apple Jack.” AJ told them. “Aaaaaand I’m Pinkie Pie!” Pinkie bounced in sync with Vio. “Don’t be a silly filly! Pinkie Pie and Apple Jack lived 800 years ago!” Vio laughed. “Its true, we are from the past, our friend cast a spell and it went wrong, now we are here.” Apple Jack said. “A Unicorn?” Apple Fritter asked. “Yes, a Unicorn.” AJ confirmed. “There hasn’t been a Unicorn in Ponyville for at least 700 years.” Apple Fritter stated, “Where is she?” “She went to Canterlot to see if anyone was there.” AJ explained. “we wer goin’ ta meet back above ground in a week.’ “Above ground? Wut’s it like?” Apple Fritter asked. “Not much to see up there now. Everything’s been destroyed.” AJ said sadly. “Wutever, I guess they were telling the truth.” Apple Fritter looked disappointed, “Let’s go to my farm, we’ll talk more tomorrow.” With that, they followed Apple Fritter to the farm. On the way there, one thing was bothering AJ. From the way Apple Fritter said it, when he said ‘they’ it was not referring to her and Pinkie. Who was ‘they’? “Queen Rarity? When do we leave?” Twilight asked as Queen Rarity let them to the castle. “Oh, there’s no point in leaving tonight, I suggest you depart tomorrow.” Queen Rarity suggested. They approached the brown Unicorn from before. “Ted Quality! Tell the servants to set up two guest rooms.” “Yes milady!” He saluted and was about to leave when he saw Twilight. “What is SHE doing here? She’s dangerous!” “Calm down Ted. Twilight here is from the past, she is going to get rid of herself.” Queen Rarity explained as simply as she could. Ted hesitated before saying, “Oh, of course, I’ll go see to the servants.” He trotted briskly into the castle. “He is my chief advisor,” Queen Rarity told them as they walked into the castle. There was a grand staircase leading up. Doors were scattered around the walls of the enormous room. A brilliant glass chandelier hung from the ceiling. “Servants and advisors?” the other Rarity was impressed. “You have servants?” Twilight disapproved. “It’s only volunteers.” Queen Rarity reassured her. Ted came back and told her that the rooms were ready. “Very well, Twilight, Rarity, Ted will show you to your rooms.” “Right this way please.” Ted walked up the staircase, the other Rarity and Twilight followed him. They reached the first door, “This is your room Twilight Sparkle.” “Thank you,’ Twilight said opening the door, she stopped before entering the room. “Problem?” Ted asked. “No, it’s just really beautiful.” Twilight said then continued to walk into the room. “Look out!” Rarity cried ramming Twilight out of the way as the ceiling collapsed on where Twilight was a few seconds ago. “Are you both alright?” Ted asked rushing over to them. “Well, it appears that someone does not like me very much.” Twilight observed, “Something cut a hole so that would fall, the edges are too smooth for it to be a coincidence.” Sure enough, it appeared that somepony had cut it. “Who could have done such a thing?” Ted asked sounding horrified. “I shall check with everyone that has had access to your room after knowing you were staying here.” Ted trotted off. “Are you going to be alright Twilight?” Rarity asked. “Yeah, I’ll just enchant the room, incase our friend tries something else.” Twilight got into bed. “Goodnight Rarity.” “Goodnight Twilight.” Rarity said as she departed, closing the door behind her. “Okay, we have the cover of darkness, Fluttershy, when we get in, you and Seafoam get to the camera room, I’ll go and try to find Rainbow Dash.” Lightning Chaser formulated the plan as they approached the prison. “Here Fluttershy.” He handed her a small device, “Put that in your ear.” “What is it?” Fluttershy stared at it curiously. “It will allow us to communicate long distances. You can hear what I am saying and I can hear what you are saying.” Lightning Chaser explained. “We both wear them all the time. “ Seafoam told her. Fluttershy could tell that Seafoam still felt awkward about what she had told her. It unsettled Fluttershy a little bit as well. There was a couple things she wanted to ask Seafoam, but it could wait until Rainbow Dash was rescued. “Lets go.” Fluttershy said. “Okay,” Lightning Chaser flew up to the entrance, Fluttershy and Seafoam followed him. “Excuse me, my friends and I would like to visit a prisoner.” The gate keeper sighed, “Which one?” “I want to see uh…number 21943 and my friends would like to see number…12442” Lightning Chaser lied, if they knew they were going to see Rainbow Dash they would be in trouble. “Okay, enter.” The gate keeper groaned. The door opened and two burly Pegusi were waiting for them as escorts. They had forgotten that they were going to be escorted. “Oh! Excuse me! I really need to use the bathroom!” Seafoam blurted out. “Oh, uh…right this way miss.” One of the Pegusi said, “Do you need to come as well?” “Oh…uh…sure. That is…if it’s not too much trouble.” Fluttershy answered following them down the hall. “Hey, now that they mention it, I kinda need to go to. Wheres the colts bathroom?” Lightning Chaser asked. “Follow me.” The Pegasus sighed. “Fluttershy, Seafoam.” Chaser’s voice sounded in Fluttershy’s ear making her jump. “Do you see the air vent?” “Yeah.” Seafoam answered. “Great, climb through it to the camera room, when you get there, Fluttershy, you have to find Rainbow Dash. I don’t fit in the vent.” “What will you do?” Seafoam asked worriedly. “I’ll create a distraction. Now, hurry up and go!” Chaser ordered. Seafoam flew up to the air vent, using her teeth she unscrewed the vent. She then stepped back for Fluttershy to go through. “Are you not coming?” Fluttershy asked. Seafoam shook her head while her hoof held her mouth. Her teeth were in pain from unscrewing the vent. Nodding Fluttershy wiggled into the air vent. She almost panicked when she thought about her situation. She was alone, breaking out a prisoner and she had no idea where to go. Still, she had to save Rainbow Dash. She wiggled on until there was a choice. Three of them. One path went straight, one went right and one went left. She paused, if this was an underground tunnel she could call out to the nearby critters to tell her the right way. She closed her eyes in despair, if she chose wrong Rainbow could be stuck in there forever. Suddenly she heard a voice. “Fluttershy?” It was Rainbow Dash’s voice! “Is that you?” It came from below her. She was sitting on a vent. “Rainbow?” Fluttershy started to try to open the vent. “Fluttershy! Just leave me in here!” Rainbow Dash said, “You can’t rescue me yourself.” “Hiyah!” Fluttershy kicked the vent out, then backed up so Rainbow Dash could get up. “There are others with me.” She explained. Fluttershy started to crawl back the way she came, Rainbow Dash followed her. When they reached the bathroom Fluttershy noticed the vent was back on. She peered through the vent to see Seafoam talking to a guard. “Where is your friend?” The guard asked. “She’s having difficulty in the stall, uh… she will be done soon.” Seafoam lied. “Excuse me ma’am, do you need anything?” the guard asked. Fluttershy knew they were done for if she did not say anything. “No, I’m fine.” She quietly said hoping he would not know where it came from. The guard turned toward the vent. “Why are you-“ Rainbow Dash grabbed Fluttershy, smashed through the vent, grabbed Seafoam and shot out the door. “Stop them!” one of the guards hollered. Both of the guards started to give chase. They were stopped as Lightning Chaser rammed into their sides causing them to fall over stunned for just enough time for everyone to get away. AJ was the first to wake up. Apple Fritter’s family was nice enough to prepare a room for them in the barn. Looking around she felt almost at home. The familiar scent of hay and dirt was around her. “No!” Pinkie cried out in her sleep, “Those are my bubbles!” Pinkie jumped into full awakeness. “Oh! Good morning Apple Jack!” “Eh…hi Pinkie.” AJ replied. “Whats eating you?” Pinkie asked. “I just wonder when we’ll get back to our time.” AJ explained. “Oh, that’s all? That’s good. Thanks for letting us stay here again.” AJ said. “Tain’t nuthin.” Apple Fritter blushed. “It most certainly is not nothing!” Queen Rarity exclaimed, “somepony tried to kill you Twilight!” “Well, I am still alive. Also I don’t see how it makes a difference if I am going to be leaving shortly.” Twilight explained, “Ponies have a right to hate me for what I have done.” “Well then, we must get you out of here as soon as possible, Rarity! Blackjack! Are you all ready?” Queen Rarity called out. Past Rarity trotted over with a couple overflowing bags, “Yes, I am ready.” Blackjack walked up to Queen Rarity, “I am ready, our other companion will meet us at the gate.” “Okay good, you may leave now. I would accompany you to the gate however I still have my duty as Queen and I have to attend a meeting in a few minutes. Farwell!” Queen Rarity walked off. The three made their way to the gate. “Where is the other pony, I thought they were going to meet us here.” Twilight asked. “There she is!” Blackjack pointed at a blue unicorn trotting over to them, “Icicle, you ready to go?” Keeping her distance from Twilight she answered, “Yeah.” Noticing Icicle’s uncomforted appearance Blackjack reassured her, “It’s all right, this Twilight is good.” “Well, standing here is not going to accomplish anything, lets get going.” Twilight suggested. They trotted out of Canterlot and out into the wilderness. “Twilight, something has occurred to me. How are we going to find future you?” “Well, lucky for us, I learned a spell that let me track the magical residue that unicorns leave. If I track my own, we should be able to find future me.” Twilight explained. “Seems simple enough.” Twilight’s horn started glowing and it pointed north. “North? Your future self is probably living in the mountains.” Rarity observed. “Oh by the way, BlackJack, Icicle, why are there no earth ponies and pegusi here?” “Oh, you don’t know do you?” Icicle said sullenly. She looked over to Blackjack. Blackjack sighed, “They were wiped out, by Twilight.” The four unicorns made their way along a path that led toward the mountains in silence. Suddenly they heard a noise behind them. “Wait!” It was Ted, the Queen Rarity’s assistant. “The Queen has ordered me to come along with you!” (Autor’s Note: I started this story a while ago. At this point the finally of season two was released and I decided to incorporate that into my story.) “So Dash! Now, you, Flutershy and Seafoam have to get near the side. As soon as I bust out you have to get through before it seals back up. By the way, how do they get the clouds to surround Cloudsdale so efficiently?” “Oh, our Queen is a Alicorn. Queen Cadance the Tenth.” Seafoam explained, “She uses an adapted version of the first Princess Cadance’s husbands magic.” “What ever happened to the Changelings anyway?” Fluttershy inquired. “HEADS UP!” Rainbow Dash used Sonic Rainboom on the wall. It’s Super Effective! The four Pegasi got away safely! Or so they thought. “Halt!” the brown Pegasus from the prison was chasing after them. “Uh oh, hey, lets lose him in these mountains.” Lightning Chaser suggested diving down, the others followed him. After a while of being chased around the mountains Fluttershy and Seafoam were at their limit. “I have…to land…” Fluttershy panted. “Me…two.” Seafoam agreed. “We can’t! he will catch us!” Rainbow Dash insisted. Just then they heard a familiar voice. “Down here!” Twilight was standing in a small shack on the mountain, there was a force field that opened up and as soon as the four friends flew through the shield cut off the guard. “Thank goodness you were here Twilight!” Fluttershy exclaimed. “Hey, where’s Rarity? I thought you guys went to Canterlot?” Rianbow Dash asked.
