"And you are such a beautiful pony too..." he said kissing her back. "I don't know how my life would have been with out you, and I never want to know."
Quillina gave a nod, smiling widely. She kissed him yet again and yawned a little bit, clsoing his eyse tightly.
Lifhtning yawned also and hugged her. He closed his eyes and burried his face in her mane. He loved feeling it.
Quillina giggled a little bit more before finally closing her eyes finally, snuggling back into him. Time passed like water in a river between the two sharing the embrace.
After a while Lightning woke up, his belly growled and decided to go and get something to eat quickly. He switched himself with a pillow so she could hug it and went outside. It was already night, he looked up to the moon that reminded him of Luna, and that made him remember his brother. He looked to a side an a guard came with him. "My prince, look like a storm is coming, you should get back inside." the guard said. Lightning looked to a side of the ship and saw what he meant. "Tell everpony to get ready, I don't want to loose anypony." he said in a firm voice. "Yes my prince!" the guard answered as he left. He ran to the ship kitchen, grabbed something to eat and went back to the room quickly.
Hearing the beginning of the storm, Quillina snuggled straight into the small covers and shut her eyes. the rain began to pound against the side. She ignored her pleases from her stomach. She groaned, then she waited for him to come back.
Lightning came back inaide the room, all wet from the rain. Outside guards and sailors were running around getting everything ready for the worst. He had a bag with him and went by her side in the bed.
Quillina whispered, "how bad is It going to get?" She whispered, shaking around violently as the thunder and lightning Egan roar.
Lightning looked outside for a moment. "I don't know, but what I know is that it might take a while for it to finish." He hugged trying to calm her down. "But you don't have to worry at all, my father's ship is quite strong."
Quillina shut her eyes tightly before giving another nod. When more lightning struck, she pushed her head under the pillow, awaiting the thunder. Even after it struck, she still whimpered.
"Don't worry..." he nuzzled her in the back of her neck "... we will be safe. I brought some food..." he said moving his bag with his magic to where they were "... maybe eating something might calm you down." He said in a soft voice.
"Food?" She asked, lifting her head up and taking sniff. She smiled widely and began munching on a piece of bread with a smile, "thank you!"
"I knew you would want some." He said with a big smile as he took a peace of bread and started eating it calmly. "There is more on the bag if you want."
Quillina nodded and began eating. The distraction helped her not to be scared while the storm outside raged. She asked, "do you have a quill?"
"A quill?" He asked as he started to look around for one. He found one in the desk of his father and with his magic gave it to her.
She began to write, using special ink the princess had given her enough to write for years, on a parchment. It was a love sonnet, oversimplifying them as birds and using a metaphor of crabs to represent intercourse. She smiled.
Lightning read it. He didn't knew what impressed him the most, how she represented them or how well she write it. She indeed was so skilled. He smiled to her back, not knowing what to say.
Quillina blushed, 'I may be taking up hetero erotic writing as a trade right now." She giggled a bit, "But I mainly do romance."
