"Very well... I just feel like I'm not giong to be good royalty... I love your son, don't get me wrong... the problem is that... well..." She looked down.further.
"You don't have to worry at all." She said to Quillina un her soft voice "I wasn't even sure myself when I met my husband."
"Really?" Quillina asked, playing with her necklace a bit, "I mean, I'm just an earth pony... and my talent is writing! Writing! I-I'm not cut out to be royalty but... but he's so special and... when he ascends to the throne that means... I..."
"Well, writting sometimes is most of what you do some days." She said cheerfuly "And if he offered you to be that it means he saw something in you really special."
Quillina blushed harder and she asked, "W-what if there is a war? I don't like fighting! I-I'd be the one to stand at a table and tell everypony else how to fight! I-I can't kill other ponies!"
"There hadn't been a war in the last five centuries. This kingdome value peace more than everything. I highly doubt there would be one, specially with such a cute pony as a queen." She answered her calmly.
"C-cute?" She whispered, her cheeks turning red. She lowered her head into the small crook of her neck, "I-I'm not everything that your son made me out to be, your highness."
"You don't have to call me your highness." She said "But what do you mean by that?"she asked curiously.
"I'm not special, I happened to catch his eye at the right time..." She blushed, "I don't deserve to be queen."
She closed her eyes and smiled. "If he chose you, is for something. He had a lot of options when he was here, but he always refused saying that he was waiting for a really special pony that he could love no matter what."
"Really?" She looked up, a glimmer of.pride in her eyes. She blushed, "I-I... I'm honored... he's so special... your son is amazing!"
"Morning..." he said with a sleepy voice yet with a smile on his face. "Oh... hi there mom, didn't saw you." She just smiled at him. "I'll go and wake up your dad." She then left them both alone.
Quillina blushed, "Your mother is a really nice pony... I can see why they had a son as perfect as you." She nuzzled back into his fur, sniffing a bit, "Lightning, if I were to... become ugly, would you still love me?"
"I hope that never happens, you are so lovely the way you are now." He started saying "But if that happened, I'll still love you, no matter what."
Quillina smiled adn she whispered, "I'm really hungry... is there... any way that I could be fed?" She looked around.
She nodded, "Please, let's go now... I mean... unless you want to eat with your parents, then that's okay."
