"Yeah, it'll distract me." She got a quill, dipped it in her special ink -even in the kingdom, she still carried it around in a small side pouch- and got ready to take some notes.
"Alright, I'll start by how the kingdome was created, I'll make some stops if you have any questions." He replied
"Alright, I'll start now: About a thousand years ago, six brothers arrived to this lands and established 6 kingdoms, each one representing the elements of nature: Air, water, earth, fire, light and dark. The 2 smallest brothers, the ones of light and Dark, had the smallest portions of land and decided to join together and made one of their own, although they were still considered as two. In the middle of the land, right where we are, was a lone field, in here numerous wars where held, and in order to keep everything safe, they built five forts, they are still outside and quite well preserved. Take the fort, take the land. It was that simple. Fortunately neither of the forts were captured." He started saying.
Quillina furiously began to scribble ntoes down onto her piece of parchment, nodding, "Forts, not captured, got it so far."
Lightning smiled at her of how she was writing, he then continued. "Various centuries after, a dark creature appeared in the middle of the field with an army of dark creatures and started capturing the land. Most of the ponies escaped to the only kingdom that managed to hold, the one of light and dark. The kings and queens gave their lives so everypony else could escape. After some time a young hero came, who was actually an earth pony and armed only with a sword, gave battle to the creature, and with the help of the princes and princesses of the rest of the kingdoms managed to seal the creature away and defeated the dark army. They then became the first alicorns of our land and the hero become the first king of the 6 kingdoms, creating the royal blood, which me and my brother are descendants from."
When quillina finally stopped and read over her notes, she dropped the quill and she whispered, "Woah... that's... holy..." She looked up and she suddenly bowed again, "I-I'm humbled to even know you!"
"You don't need to do that, after all, you are my future queen and the love of my life." he said as he gave her a small kiss.
Quillina blushed heavily and she stayed on the ground, "You're so much worthier than I am! II shouldn't have the privliage to know you your highness!"
Lightning stood up and moved her head up so she could see him to the eyes. "I'm the one that should say that. I never met a pony such as good as you."
Quillina blinked and she sighed, reluctantly standing up, "I'm sorry about it. I just... I just don't ever feel like I'll amount to what you are." She gulped.
"You don't have to worry about that. I'm sure one day you will do something as impresive that I'll never forget, just like the day I met you." He replied kissing her.
"Yes, and this is just the begining..." he whispered back "you will learn a lot of new things in here."
