A Canterlot Romance (BionicBrony and Prince of the Night RP)

"I don't know..." he started thinking for a moment "now that I remember, I didn't show you the Library."

 

Blushing hard, she nodded, "Let's do it then."

 

Lightning lead her to the library. It was very big, even a little bigger than the one in the crystal empire or Canterlot. "Here we are." Lightning said as they entered.

 

Quilina bilnked rapidly, not sure exactly what she could say. It was rahter impressive.

 

"impressive right?" he asked her smiling. "This is the biggest library in all the kingdom." he explained "So go ahead, you can look around as you want, also, you can borrow any book you want any time."

 

Quillina was still taking in the massive scale of the entire library, "Is this open to the public?" She asked, looking around and blinking rapidly.

 

"Yes, but usually not that many ponies come." Lightning replied

 

"Good... I would hope you don[t exclude them!" She panted.

 

"It's mostly a public library. Knowledge is for everypony." He replied with a grin.

 

Quillina smiled and she began to look around, "How haven't I heard of this knigdom? If it's so large wouldn't it have at least came to Celestia's attention?"

 

"We didn't had that communication with other territories." he started explaining "Actually, my brother is the one that opened communications between our nations when he arrived to Canterlot."

 

"Oh, I see." She blinked, "So you're content here? You're not going to... invade other areas, right?" She shivered.

 

"Errrr.. no." He said "We appreciate peace peace more than anything. We just get soldiers to defend ourselves." he explained to her "Also, this place is quite pretty, I really like it." he smiled

 

She gave a sigh if relief yet again, "Sorry, I just... I don't like to fight. If I have to... and I mean dragged into it... I will."

 

Lightning was a little surprised. "I would never drag you to a battle..." he replied to her, but then he thought for a moment "But it might help that you learn to defend yourself, just in case. I don't want to lose you."

 

She nodded a little before walking up to the nearest chair and sitting in it.

((Idea: after her coronation, she's kidnapped for ransom))

Lighting looked forba book to read and then seated by her side.

She smiled and took a book as well.

Lightning read the book at her side for a while .
