The screams stopped suddenly. A little bit of light revealed that there was a clearing. However, once again, a wall of fire, was sent spiralling in Rashall's way.
Rashall threw his right shoulder against the oncoming fire the wards bound in his skin flared and dispersed the wall of fire. Rashall shrugged of the small embers and continues onwards.
Upon entering the clearance, Rashall could make out a small, crude hut. Several windows broken, the door was weak, and hanging on its hinges. However, still no sign of where Melody was taken.
Rashall drops into the shadows of the over hanging tree's creeping very slowly up on the house looking for a back door or a cellar door.
Unfortunatly, there were not any back doors Rashall could see. However, there is an odd rising in the ground, shaped more like a square than a natural shape...
Rashall walks up to the mound wondering what it is and whispers a quite litany of de-warding to dissipate any magical barriers that may be on it.
Immediatly as his lips closed, the ground swung open in front of Rashall. In front of him was a dark void. It felt magical, yet showed no signs of magic.
Rashall studied the mysterious void from which nothing but darkness ensued. "I am the light in the darkness," whispers Rashall before stepping through the void.
A mysterious light appears around him as he moves. After a few seconds of walking, a small click is made. It was a trap. Before he knew it, the entrance was sealed and he was surrounded in a ring of fire. A sinister laughing could be heard back where the entrance once was.
"I don't know what your laughing at coward," says Rashall casually unconcerned about his predicament.
The laughing became more manic than serious. It was mocking him "Ha ha ha! Oh I think you do! You think yourself so mighty! Oh well I am so scared. Now, if you need me, I'm going to have a chat with Melody. Good day. Or night. Not that it matters from in there! Muahahahaah. Bwahahahahaha!"
"Nimir- am -sur!" Says Rashall in a defined yell, the words were those of the Eldar ancient in any and all ways. The words simply meant, "Banish thy darkness and flames," to which the fire and darkness both vanished revealing the area for the cellar that it was.
The flames died out, and the light began to fade, along with them. The trap was not magical, but something here was, and whatever it was, was setting of the light which surrounded Rashall when he entered. However, the entrance which he came had vanished.
A thud was heard, and then a voice. "Ooof. Uh, what was that for?" The light grew brighter to reveal a pegasus. He was thin, but his wings were massive. He had a black and white mane, and a grey body. However, his eyes pink. "Can you tell me, why you took me to the ground?" He began rubbing his head.
Dark Shine just threw his hooves in the air. "Calm down! Please. I am just picking up stuff for my sister, but I got a bit lost, trying to avoid some poison joke." He grins, hoping not to agrovate the one who had just took him to the ground.
Dark Shine shrugged. "I do. Because I am. Now, if you'll excuse m-" He was cut out by a loud scream outside the trapdoor. It was Perfect Melody. Without thinking Dark Shine flew stright into the trapdoor, flingning it off of its hinges, but also making him go corkscrewing to the ground, face first.
